This strainer is made of stainless steel and has a chrome-plated peg and a rubber stopper. To close the drain, the basket has a rubber stopper, and it is being operated with a spring steel closure. To close the drain, the basket has a rubber stopper, and it is being operated with a spring steel closure. This replacement sink strainer is all metal and of good quality. the threaded stopper works well and the stainless steel product can be placed in the dishwasher.
