2/0 AWG Gauge Custom Battery Cable Copper Car Solar Power Wire Inverter RV Welding2/0 AWG Gauge Custom Battery Cable (Red or Black) Uses for this product are: Auto, EV Conversions, RVs, Golf Carts, Marine, Inverters, Solar, Welding, Trolling Motors, and many more. They are available in two colors – red and black. The cable metal is 100% copper. There are multiple lengths available to choose from. The lugs are heavy duty and each cable has two copper lugs that are tin plated. We offer two different hole sizes – 5/16” and 3/8”. If you’re looking for a different size please email us to see if we can work something out. You can have the same lug on both sides or different sizes on each side. The lugs have a closed end design to keep out unnecessary moisture. This reduces the likelihood of wire corrosion. Each end of the cable also has black heat shrink. This listing is for one cable. To order multiple cables at once, click add to cart to add each cable needed in one order instead of clicking buy now. Placing multiple cables in the same order gets you a discount. In actual service, the load factor may be much higher than indicated without overheating the cable as the ambient temperature will generally be substantially lower than -40°C. Now, a little education on why our REAL COPPER cable is better than CCA (copper clad aluminum): It’s important to understand that our cables are REAL COPPER and they will handle more current (amps) than CCA (copper clad aluminum) cable in the same size. Many products on the market use CCA instead of real copper and most people just don’t know the difference so here you go:Our copper cable is rated to 100% conductivity vs 61% for Copper Clad Aluminum (CCA) meaning you need 2 sizes larger for a CCA cable than you would if you used real copper. Copper is flexible and doesn’t break easily but Copper Clad Aluminum (CCA) expands and contracts nearly 1/3 more than copper from heat. Add to that the fact that aluminum has around 37% of the tensile strength of copper and you have the potential for breaking strands and loosening connections…something you shouldn’t mess with in high amperage DC Voltage applications!Copper Clad Aluminum was designed for AC voltage use especially in high frequencies like those found in signalling and telecommunications as AC current travels on the outside of the conductor so aluminum inside and copper outside meant an overall lighter weight and lower cost wire…but there is not a single benefit in DC voltage! It’s a sad abuse by manufacturers to sell low quality cable dressed up as copper to unsuspecting buyers. So now you know why our REAL COPPER cables are superior! Share this info with family and friends and BE SAFE! Use REAL COPPER…like the soft annealed copper which makes up our durable and flexible multi-rated battery and welding cable.

2 AWG Gauge Copper Battery Cable Power Wire Car, Marine, Inverter, RV, Solar

2 AWG GAUGE CUSTOM MADE BATTERY CABLE ASSEMBLYCHOICE OF RED OR BLACK BATTERY CABLE AND CHOICE OF LUG SIZE Your choose your length, color and cable ends from the options above near the purchase buttons. The copper ring terminal lug cable end choices are 5/16 or 3/8 which are professionally crimped onto the red or black copper battery using the UL approved crimping tool as specified by the manufacturer. We then seal the connection point with adhesive heat shrink tubing in the color to match the cable. The heat shrink has a melt-able glue lining to help seal your cable from air and moisture. The copper lugs feature a tin plating which is resistant to corrosion you’ll see on bare copper ring terminals. If you need something special with regard to the length or lugs outside the available options please send us a message and we may be able to help you out. ABOUT THE WIRE USED: This 2 AWG Gauge extreme battery cable is specially designed to meet the demands of various environments while staying extremely flexible. Full AWG sized copper conductor made from 99.9% pure annealed electrolytic copper, will you get maximum power. The insulation and jacket compounds are specially formulated to stay flexible even in cold weather and carry a -49C to 105C temperature rating. The jacket is resistant to chemicals, water, abrasions, oil, sunlight and has a color coded dual extrusion jacket with a white inner insulation which would show any damage to the outer cable more clearly. This cable is rated up to 600 Volts and is suitable for use in automotive applications, solar battery bank wiring, power inverter battery cables, marine battery cables and many other applications calling for a durable yet flexible battery cable. The battery cables meet the requirements of SAE J1127 and J378 making them ABYC and US Coast Guard approved for boat and marine use. BENEFITS OVER WELDING CABLE:Full AWG Size Copper ConductorTPE Jacket is Oil Resistant where EPDM on many welding cables is a poor insulator against oilSAE Rated for Automotive and Marine Uses BENEFITS OVER CCA POWER WIRE:Our cable is Copper…REAL COPPER but watch out for other “CCA Cable” as CCA Means Copper Clad Aluminum so you’d be using Aluminum which is a poor conductor compared to this pure copper cable! You have to use larger sizes of aluminum CCA cable, approximately 2 sizes larger to get close to the same power delivery as real copper cable! If you care about maximum power use our cable! Most of the time the negative will be 5/16 so if the positive is the same size it is also 5/16, but if your battery stud is larger on the positive it will most likely be a 3/8. There are exceptions to the rule so please contact the manufacturer or measure. You can search online for bolt sizing tables which will help.
