Pieces are made to fit tight together for durability and ease of use – they should “click” together.  Its takes some force to get them locked all the way and to get apart once connected. Each pack (quantity 1) comes with 4ea green 1/4″ plus your choice of 4 in any size. Enough to make 4 complete spacersi.e. order quantity 1 and select the secondary color of orange and you shall receive 4 green and 4 orange parts.  If you order quantity 2 you will get 8 of green and 8 of secondary color. You will need to be aware of which direction you are inserting the spacer in the boards if you plan on using the smaller sizes together without the 1/4″.
