This attractive Bamboo Matting is made using double layers of shaved strips of natural bamboo that are hand woven into a herringbone pattern. It can be used to cover walls and ceilings, or as a decorative wainscoting. It can also be used to wrap columns or to cover unsightly areas on large furniture and tiki-bars. Bamboo matting gives a beautiful organic tropical texture to any surfaces and can be used for both interior and exterior projects. Bamboo Matting can be installed easily by using staples or glue. It is recommended that you put tape on one side before cutting the matting to keep it from unraveling. (Note: Matting may arrive with some frayed ends that is natural due to the type of material used to create these sheets) If using outdoors, a polyurethane coating or varnish is recommended for added sheen and durability.
