Weather Resistant, UL 94HB and FDA Compliant. Made from Sabic Lexan®.Polycarbonate Tubes are not Pressure or Vacuum Rated Tolerances: Tubes OD Dia +/-.045″, ID Tol ±.035″ These Polycarbonate tubes are extruded, therefore, they will have extrusion lines, from the extrusion process. Extrusion lines appear as fine scratching. They are not as clear as glass or cast acrylic. They also have a blue edge tint. All lengths other than 96″ are cut on a band saw, and the blade tapers as it cuts, therefore flat or square cuts are not guaranteed. 265° F continuous use temperature. Polycarbonate has a glass transition temperature of about 147 °C (297 °F; 420 K), so it softens gradually above this point and flows above about 155 °C (311 °F; 428 K) Cut to Length Tolerances +/- 1/4″ Tubes less than full length (8 Ft) are cut on a band saw, and may have slight burrs, shavings, etc. Larger Diameters may not be perfectly flat or straight or perpindicular to the length due to blade taper/wandering.
