Four Seasons Courtyard Firewood Folding Log Rack
When I first saw this on display at the GOOB (Going Out Of Business) auction, I was not seeing how this thing folds. I bought an auction lot of these and the instructions say nothing about it folding. The rack comes with two bolts and two acorn nuts (closed and rounded for safety as seen in the picture) and a wrench to tighten the nuts/bolts. I am not sure what they expect you to do if the bolt wants to turn. You will need another wrench. I did not tighten them for the pictures. Anyway, back to the folding: to fold it, and I do not consider it really “folding”, the bolts must be removed and then you have the three pieces to deal with. To me, “folding” means it is still all in one unit with no pieces. So, I am sorry that you probably are looking at this thinking it folds. That would be really nice, but if you want it compact for storage, you just have to take the two bolts out. Not a big deal if you only need to do that once a year. At the start of this listing there are others of these offered by other sellers. They don’t tell you about the deception of the title. I am offering these at a very good price. The boxes are a bit battered from being moved around and most have a hole poked through from the bolt bracket. Most are sealed, but the ones that weren’t, I will make sure all what is supposed to be there is. I need to mention that the instructions are a bit laughable. It says that improper installation, etc. may result in a fire or explosion causing property damage, personal injury or loss of life. IT’S A FIREWOOD RACK!!! Now, if you are planning to set fire to the wood while it’s on this rack, there may be undesirable results. It seems like the instructions are telling you to do that and goes on and on about similar safety precautions. The instructions have couple drawings showing the positioning of the three pieces and where the bolts go like it is a complicated assembly.
