Ten Second Color (TSC) and Active Elements (AE) are penetrating dyes to color concrete and other cementitious surfaces. When properly applied, they create beautifully mottled effects similar to acid stain in a matter of seconds without the wait time required by acid, saving you time and money. TSC and AE are translucent dyes, and colors can be combined into countless variations and hues, or layered for unique effects. You Must Add Acetone Simply add 1 Gallon of acetone and go! For interior and exterior use. Coverage– One Gallon Dye covers an average of 400-600 sq ft. Coverage variations depend on concrete surface porosity and amount of material applied. Application Instructions: Step 1: Concrete must be very clean, dry and porous. (Water must readily soak in and concrete should feel similar to 120 grit sandpaper.) Step 2: Apply Dye with a cone tip pump sprayer that is compatible with acetone. TSC Dye can also be applied with a brush, roller or HVLP spray equipment. Step 3: Allow to dry completely and apply sealer. Speed Color™ Dye samples shown are representative of Speed Color applied to standard, gray concrete using the directions provided on the Technical Data Sheet. For deep cracks, back-fill with play sand (or similar) and install a minimum of 1/8″ of material. A superior alternative to hazardous solvent and acid based stains. CR-WRC is designed to give predictable natural variegated colors or predictable bright solid colors. A one step staining process, there is no residue to neutralize and scrub off. CR-WRC can also be used for faux finishing, changing hues, or correcting errors after acid staining (surface must be cleaned and neutralized prior to application). For interior and exterior concrete, horizontal or vertical. Coverage One quart CR-WRC yields 1.25 – 2.25 total gallons of “ready to use” stain. CR-WRC covers 100-500 sq ft per gallon. Coverage variations depend on concrete surface porosity, dilution ratios and amount of material applied. Variances Results may vary due to shades and/or hues of concrete. Texture of the slab affects final color appearance. Many slab characteristics show through the stain, especially with the more transparent colors.
