Philips Hue motion sensor (new 570977) wall mount. Indoor only Philips actually has one of the best mounting system, however, it still requires you to put a screw in the drywall. I hate that, there’s no reason to damage the wall when dealing with very small and light sensors. This is a minimalist design that uses a small Command strip. Please use the SHORTER screw included in the sensor hardware and attached the magnet stub onto the 3D printed mount. Important note: The magnet in the Philips mounting system is very strong. When removing the sensor or adjusting the sensor position, do not pull straight out away from the mount. The magnet is so strong, that it may take the mount with it. The small command strip is good for about 1 lb. Remove the sensor by slowly sliding it off or peeling it from 1 side. 2 options. wall mounting and corner mounting.Corner mounting can also be mounted on flat wall for 45 degree view. (see photos) No screws, pins, no damage to the wall, or paint. Mount it anywhere with a smooth flat surface. Change your mind? Remove it, apply a new strip, and install it again. What you get is 1 holder with a small command strip. If you change your mind on the mounting location you can buy new strips from just about anywhere. This is only a mounting bracket. you will not get a sensor. Photo for reference only. NO sensor included. If you are familiar with Command strips, then you already know how this works, and how well it works in protecting your wall paint. Mounting brackets only require 1 Command strip. The corner mount is designed with both left or right mounting options, that’s why you see 2 places where you can mount the strip. You only need one. Some users actually use the corner mount on a flat wall, so I designed it to face either direction when used on a flat wall. Use only 1 strip for corner mount. Corner drywall is almost never completely 90 degree. You’ll likely only have good contact on 1 wall only. Caution: I’ve been using the command strips/hooks in my house for a long time now. It has never taken paint with it during the removal process. However, if you google, you will see some reviews that state damaged paint. So please follow the manufacturer’s instructions on install and removal of the strips and just be as careful as you can. Obviously, I can not guarantee that the Command tape will never damage your paint, I can only tell you that my wall is perfect after removal of the tape. And I use these (small to large) all over the house. Just make sure you follow Command’s instructions.

It’s impossible to get the white shade to everyone’s liking so if you are particular on the shade of white or expecting it to match your walls / your remote / whatever ; DO NOT, DO NOT BUY because it will likely NOT match your favorite thing so don’t be disappointed. The term Gang: A gang refers to an open slot in which your switch will sit behind, we don’t consider the Hue port itself as a gang. See picture.
