Our System F2 removable access door comprises a welded aluminum frame, concealed touch latches and a ½” (12.7 mm) drywall inlay. After installation and finishing, a small reveal of 1/16″ (1.59 mm) is visible between the outer frame and the access door. Any access door over 12″ (305mm) has a safety-system to prevent accidental openings. This safety system must reset after each use. The rough opening of the hole is the door size + 3/8″ (9mm).
