I have several available with volume pricing applicable. All have been tested. All are in used condition but function as they did when new. Might be some cosmetic scuffs especially to plastic components. The legs fold but they are solid metal outside and the pins that slide in are reinforced with metal as well. The plastic is basically just a spacer between layers of metal so even if it gave way or cracked the metal would hold. The main reason for folding is portability. You could travel with these very easily, even through airports, and to wherever your hotel is. They don’t take up much more space than a rolled up pair of jeans. The alarm has two settings besides “off”. Low sensitivity and high sensitivity. The low setting means you can bump the door without it necessarily going off, but an attempted forced entry will set it off. The high setting is more sensitive, but very gentle movement still doesn’t always set it off. Has to be an attempted entry or a good (even accidental) bump. I am personally impressed by these. I continue to use and count on the ones I am keeping. I just have way more than I would ever use. I live in the same town as the company that produced these. They are made in China but were designed and sold in Billings, Montana.
