The picture has much glare since it is so shiny! At the outside edges this lid measures 17 x 8 3/4 at the widest points. Your tank should be about 16 x 8 wide. The above is a top-of-the-line original vintage porcelain tank lid. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ People often grumble at the high cost of replacement tank lids. It’s really all about peace of mind. Why change your perfectly good toilet when only the lid is broken? The problem is solved 2 minutes after you open the package. No trips to the Depots, no plumbers butt crack to look at, no need to be at home and being disrupted while the water is turned off and the entire old toilet replaced, not having to get new floor tile if new toilet has a different “footprint”, no building permits needed, and no struggling to get the old toilet out to the trash, and no wasted space in your local landfill from the old toilet. By the time all is said and done, you may have spent $600- $800 total and wasted a day when the $79 lid would have fixed the problem. These are things to consider which you might not have thought of. AND, most people are not happy with the performance and loud swooshing noises of many of the modern 1.6 gallon per flush toilets. I have written 5 Reviews and Guides which may help you further. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I’ve received many more lids recently, many of which haven’t been listed yet. Add me to your Favorite Sellers list so you can get eBay emails as I get them listed, or check back every few days. Send your requests and I will list those first! In this new batch are American Standard , Briggs , Case , Crane , Kilgore , Kohler , Sears , Montgomery Wards , Eljer , Universal Rundle , Criterion , Mansfield and many I’m still trying to figure out. If your’re willing to spend a little time looking at my listings of replacement toilet tank lids or tops, I think I can SAVE you some money, versus what other vendors are charging. I have several hundred of these old toilet tank tops in many colors, shapes, brands and sizes, so let’s hope the one you need is on it! To make it a little easier, first enter my eBay Store and choose a category by approximate COLOR. Then see if there are any the right shape. Many lids are not stamped with factory markings, so this requires some additional research on our part. If we have what you want, it is sure a lot better than replacing the whole toilet and likely having to modify the floor tile, etc. No hassles & headaches– just plop the new lid on the tank! (Gently) These lids are in remarkably good shape for being up to 30-60 years old. I am sure you will be pleased with your purchase, but you may return it if you are not 100% happy. See below for details. Did you see the hundreds of POSITIVE FEEDBACKS from over 4000 Happy Customers? That’s because you will be treated fairly just like they were!. And unlike most sellers on eBay, you can send back anything you are not happy with. To keep everyone honest, these lids will have my identifying stamp underneath. And/or ultraviolet identification underneath. All items are professionally packed; double-boxed and very well cushioned, for safe delivery by UPS and will be insured. A Flat Fee will cover packaging, insurance and Ground delivery in the 48 States. AK PR GU VI and HI will be quoted. Foreign shipping as above.
