PCS PulseWorx Relay Wall Switch, 15A, White (WS1R-15-W)
As both a transmitter and a receiver, the PCS SimpleWorx Wall Switch Transceiver Relay (120V/15A) supports a variety of remote control configurations. The switch controls a local electrical load just like a traditional wall switch. The locally connected load can be controlled with the switch (top rocker for ON, bottom rocker for OFF), or with a SimpleWorx remote transmitter. The switch can also send commands to an infinite number of SimpleWorx receivers.Controls a local electrical load up to 15 AmpsSends commands to an infinite number of receiversAccepts and relays commands from up to eight transmittersSuitable for three-way switch applicationsMounts in a standard electrical box For example, you could wire a light to the Wall Switch Transceiver and link the Transceiver to a SimpleWorx receiver. Then, you could use another SimpleWorx transmitter to remotely turn on the light connected to the Transceiver, as well as the secondary receiver. An ON command from the transmitter would be received by the Transceiver and then passed onto the receiver. Three-Way Switch Applications Three-way switches are perfect for hallways, stairways, and other areas where two switches for one light would be convenient. If you want to create a three-way switch, use this transceiver with a PulseWorx Wall Switch (model RWS, sold separately). The two switches work together to create a three-way switch that can be locally or remotely controlled. NOTE: Requires a SimpleWorx transmitter and/or receiver for remote control applications.Technical DetailsMPN: SWX-WSXR-15-WColor: White ELECTRICALPower Requirements: Primary: 120 Volts AC, 50/60Hz Single PhaseNeutral Wire: RequiredConnections/Power Wire: 16 AWG gauge, 105 C insulationBlack: Hot/LineWhite: NeutralRed: LoadGround: 18 AWG stranded copperStandby Power Consumption: Load Type: Relay on and offMaximum Load: 15AEnvironmental Conditions: Indoor Use OnlyTemperature: -40° to 140°F (-40° to 60°C)Humidity: 10 to 90 percent RH (non-condensing)Certifications: Safety tested for USA and Canada ETL tested to UL508; UL-508-2010; CSA C22.2 #14-2010 OPERATIONStatus LED Modes:Red: Operation ModeFlashes Green: Transmitting SPC MessageBlinking Green: Link ModeTransmission Channels: 1 GroupDuring Power Outage: Retains all settings in Non-volatile EERPOM MECHANICALPaddle Type: Decorator Style True RockerSet Button: PaddleWire Nuts: 4 includedMounting: Single Gang or multiple-ganged junction boxDimensions: 4.25(H) x 1.68(W) x 1.37(D) inchesWeight: 4.55 ouncesWarranty: 5 years MODES DESCRIPTIONSNormal: Power is applied to deviceLink: Press and Hold Rocker or Button for >6 secondsLink Exit: Tap while in Link ModeTest Mode: 5 taps while in NORMAL Mode of a TransmitterTEST Mode Exit: 1 tap while in TEST ModeSignal Strength Mode: 6 taps while in NORMAL Mode of a ReceiverNoise Strength Mode: 7 taps while in NORMAL Mode of a ReceiverFactory Default: 10 taps while in LINK Mode LED INDICATOR STATUSRed: Normal Mode Power AppliedBlinking Green: Link ModeFlashes Green: TransmittingDark/Green: Test ModePulses Green 1-16X: Same Phase/ Signal Strength Display Mode of a ReceiverPulses Red 1-16X: Opposite Phase / Signal Strength Display Mode of a ReceiverPulses Orange 1-16X: Relative Noise Strength at ReceiverBlinks Red 10X: Indicates that device has been factory defaulted
