Rope Hole: You can use nylon rope or steel wire(not included) to pass through the rope hole and pull this product, making it easy to use. This pump model features a built in check valve, however this check valve is only used to prevent water from going back in the pump and causing backspin of the impellers, but if you are going to use the pump in a pressure system, you need to use at least one external check valve in the pipe, the valve in the pump won't fulfill that function.
