LARGE OLD HEAVY DUTY STRAP HINGE – 18″ – locomotive or boiler? – over 5 pounds

Specifications

This is a vintage/antique heavy duty strap hinge. It is a tee type hinge with a removable hinge pin. I believe it is most likely from an old locomotive or other boiler door. Measures about 18" long, 3 1/2" wide, and the hinge measures about 1 3/8" high. Weighs about 5 pounds, 12 ounces. The T is marked with the number "7973" and the strap is marked faintly "6101".
