Item: Pair of Petite Andirons Make: Virginia Metalcrafters (Waynesboro, Virginia) Model: #1029, petite pineapple top barley twist Age: Circa 1980-1989 Construction: Solid brass with hand forged steel back leg Dimensions: 6 1/2" Wide x 12 1/4" Tall x 14 1/2" Deep Condition: Very good pre-owned condition. Brass has some natural patina commensurate with age and use. Steel legs have some rust and wear as well. Please see photos. Details: A long retired and rare pair of petite andirons, handcrafted by Virginia Metalcrafters in Waynesboro, Virginia. Each features an ornate pineapple finial top, deeply carved spiral/twisted body, and classic ball and claw feet.
